Café au Lait is a true French coffee classic, which you can get here in a decaffeinated version. It is a coffee variant that is also very popular outside of France, because a Café au Lait is a straightforward and delicious coffee, which is suitable for anyone who likes a coffee with lots of milk.
And since this variant is decaffeinated, you get a nice creamy coffee that can be enjoyed at all times of the day. It is therefore a cup that is also excellent as evening coffee. Because here you get a pleasant hot cup of coffee to end the day on, but without having to worry about its effect on your night's sleep.
The coffee is created with decaffeinated Robusta beans and a sweet creamy milk. Nescafe's choice of Robusta beans for this variant is unusual for a Café au Lait, but helps to give the coffee a little extra character, which in turn is well balanced by the creamy milk. A bold choice, but one that works great.
